Six things that matter

1. Weight, before anything else

Lower weight can reduce arm fatigue, but balance and grip also matter. The PowerStack Blower is listed at 2.1 lb with its battery fitted.

2. Battery and charger included

A lot of headline prices are for a bare tool. Add a battery and charger and the real cost often doubles. Check what actually ships in the box, and whether a spare battery is included or extra.

3. Realistic runtime, not best-case

Check how runtime was measured. PowerStack lists up to 30 minutes; actual results vary with trigger speed, debris, temperature and battery condition.

4. Variable-speed trigger

Two-speed switches force you to choose between too gentle and too violent. A progressive trigger lets you ease off around mulch, gravel and car paint.

5. Nozzles

A concentrator nozzle for packed, wet debris and a wide nozzle for sweeping large flat areas. Both should be in the box, not sold separately.

6. Noise

Compare measured decibels made under the same test method and always follow local permitted hours. PowerStack does not publish a verified dB figure.

Match the blower to the job

  • Driveway, patio, deck, garage, car: a 2-3 lb handheld cordless blower is the right tool and the one you'll grab most.
  • Quarter to half acre with mature trees: a cordless handheld plus a spare battery, or a mid-size cordless with a bigger pack.
  • Multiple acres or wet, matted leaf litter: a backpack blower, gas or high-voltage battery.
  • Indoor dust, workshops and electronics: electric only — never run a gas engine in an enclosed space.

Where the PowerStack Blower fits

It is built for the first category and it is deliberately not a backpack replacement. At 2.1 lb with a 55,000 RPM turbo motor, a variable trigger, both nozzles, a 24V battery and a charger listed in the box, it is positioned for short, portable cleanup rather than high-volume professional work.

If you clear several acres of soaked leaves every autumn, buy a backpack blower and be happy. If your cleanup is a driveway, a patio, a garage and a car, this is the honest recommendation.

Best cordless leaf blower FAQ

What should I look for in the best cordless leaf blower?
Compare published CFM and MPH, total weight, variable-speed control, included battery and charger, runtime test conditions and support information.
Is CFM or MPH more important?
CFM describes air volume and MPH describes air speed. Motor RPM alone does not establish either measurement, so compare published CFM and MPH when available.
How much should I spend on a cordless leaf blower?
Compare the full kit price, not a bare-tool headline. The PowerStack Blower starts at $69.99 with a battery, charger and both nozzles listed as included.
